Linux: 2 HDs, 1-te C (SCSI), 2-te D (EIDE)

Hallo Leute,

Hallo Leute,
Ich habe folgendes System (Platten) vorliegen:

1-te HD: - 4,2 GB, SCSI
- Partitionen:
Aktive primäre Partition, FAT32, 100 % Belegung (also volle Platte für diese Partition
ausgenutzt - keine weitere Partitionen auf dieser Platte vorhanden)
- Betriebsystem auf dieser Platte: Win95C
2-te HD: - 20,3 GB (E)IDE
- Partitionen:
(a)1-te Partition: non-dos, 4001 MB, 21 % Belegung
(b)2-te Partition: non-dos, 133 MB, 1 % Belegung
(c)3-te Partition: non-dos, 2000 MB, 10 % Belegung
(d)Keine weiteren Parititionen jeglicher Art vorhanden - somit noch ca. 15,866 GB freier
Speicher vorhanden)
- Betriebssystem: SuSe-Linux 6.4 - Minimalinstallation (die drei vorhandenen Partitionen sind
ausschliesslich für dieses Linux

Ziel: Win95 auf Festplatte C belassen, Linux auf Festplatte D belassen und den LiLo in den MBR der Festplatte C (SCSI)
installieren, damit beim Hochfahren des Computers ich zwischen Win95 und Linux wählen kann.

Kann mir sagen, wie die lilo.conf für dieses Ziel aussehen zu hat?

Und wo in welchem Verzeichnis und welcher Partition befindet sich der Kernel (für gewöhnlich /boot/vmlinux)?

Hallo Andreas,

mit "boot = /dev/hda" lädst du doch lilo nicht auf eine SCSI-Platte, sondern auf ne EIDE Platte ... ich gehe davon aus, dass die EIDE Platte bei dir die C ist, die SCSI-Platte die D, ja?

Das ist korrekt. Bei Dir muss da /dev/sda stehen. Ich dachte ich hätte die Nachricht bereits modifiziert.
