SuSE 8.0 - eth1 wird nicht dank dsl0 initialisiert - Wer kennt das Problem ?

Ich habe SuSE 8.0 installiert und die Netzwerkeinstellungen genauso wie bei den 3 Vorgängerversionen durchgeführt.

Der internen Netzwerkkarte (dmfe.o, eth0) eine feste IP - Adresse zugewiesen, der DSL-Netzwerkkarte (ne2k-pci, eth1) ebenfalls, alles mit Yast2.

Danach den DSL-Zugang über Yast2 eingerichtet. Im Ordner /etc/sysconfig/network befinden sich die 3 Config-Dateien ifcfg-eth0, ifcfg-eth1 und ifcfg-dsl0 samt provider-script.

Beim Booten wird die Netzwerkkarte eth0 korrekt initialisiert. Danach wird scheinbar das Device dsl0 ohne Fehler initialisiert, lässt sich später aber nicht starten. Das Device eth1 bringt einen Fehler (unbekanntes Device), somit funktioniert der DSL-Zugang nicht. Deaktiviere ich dsl0, startet auch die Netzwerkkarte eth1 mit Erfolg.

Auf einem Laptop mit PCMCIA-Karten funktioniert die Initialisierung ohne Probleme.

Ich habe schon diverse manuelle Änderungen durchgeführt, jedesmal ohne Erfolg. Auf der Homepage von SuSE steht ein Verfahren, ein Protokoll anzufertigen, evtl. fällt jemandem der Fehler auf:

Du kannst nicht eth0 und eth1 die gleiche ip zuweisen.
"Korrekt, Freundlich, Kostenfrei", wähle genau zwei. (Lutz Donnerhacke in dcsf)

Habe ich auch nicht. eth0=192.168.1.99. eth1=192.168.2.99

Das Problem habe ich mittlerweile so gelöst, dass ich Dial-on-Demand abgeschaltet habe, was das Problem aber nicht entgültig löst. Ich sehe aber im Log, das eth1 auf 192.168.1.0 zugreifen möchte, was natürlich falsch ist.
