+++ Firewall2 + Router Probleme +++

HI,

Ich brauche dringend eure Hilfe.
Ich will mit SuSE 7.3 einen DSL Router bauen, natürlich auch mit der SuSEfirewall2.

Netzwerk: eth0 192.168.1.0
DSL: ppp0

Router: 192.168.1.1

- Ins Internet kann ich schon, aber das Routing funktioniert noch nicht.
- Muss ich in der rc.config "IP_FORW" aktivieren, oder übernimmt das die firewall?
- Wenn ich neustarte muss ich erst die firewall stoppen und nochmal starten damit ich einen ping ausführen kann. Woran liegt das??

Ich hab auch noch nicht sehr viel Ahnung, deshalb poste ich mal die firewall2.rc.config und die Ausgabe von route -n:

SO wie ich das verstanden habe übernimmt dann die Firewall Masquerading, forwarding, routing usw. Stimmt das ????

Hi,

zunächst einmal: Du solltest eth0 und ppp0 in unterschiedliche Netze packen.
Bspw. 192.168.0.1 für ppp0 und 192.168.10.1 für eth1.
Dies erleichtert u. a. die Fehlersuche, macht aber auch in Punkto Sicherheit einen schlanken Fuß ... <img src="http://www.pl-forum.de/UltraBoard/Images/Wilk.gif" border="0" align="middle">

Dann definierst Du zwar keine DMZ, öffnest ihr aber Ports .... was soll das???

Außerdem: warum hast Du überhaupt eine FW, wenn Du doch eh nur ein paar Ports geschlossen haben willst.
Das macht doch gar keinen wirklichen Sinn!!!

Laß den Eintrag FW_TRUSTED_NETS="192.168.0.0/24" leer.

FW_ALLOW_INCOMING_HIGHPORTS_TCP="yes" &
FW_ALLOW_INCOMING_HIGHPORTS_UDP="yes"
erst einmal auf ftp-data bzw. domain setzen, und dann sehen was nicht läuft.

FW_KERNEL_SECURITY="no" auf yes setzen.

Dann spiele Dir auch noch auf jeden Fall die aktuelle Version der FW2 ein.

Nun aber etwas grundsätzliches zu FWs:
das Grundprinzip ist, möglichst viel zu sperren, und erst durch Erfahrung im Betrieb selektiv Ports (tcp und/oder udp) zu öffnen!!!

Oh man es geht immer noch nix.
Ich poste jetzt mal die Einstellungen die ich geändert habe...

FW_MASQ_NETS="192.168.1.0/24"
FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP=""
FW_SERVICES_EXT_UDP=""
FW_SERVICES_EXT_IP=""
FW_SERVICES_DMZ_TCP=""
FW_SERVICES_DMZ_UDP=""
FW_SERVICES_DMZ_IP=""
FW_SERVICES_INT_TCP=""
FW_SERVICES_INT_UDP=""
FW_TRUSTED_NETS=""


WEnn ich "iptables_-L_-t_nat.txt" kommt folgendes:
Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain POSTROUTING (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
MASQUERADE all -- 192.168.1.0/24 anywhere

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Ich kann über die putty pings ausführen..., aber ich kann mit meinen Windows Rechner keine Seite aufrufen..
Bitte helft mir. Ich sitze jetzt seit 3 Tagen 3-4 Stunden an der console und es funzt nix. ICh weiss nicht wo der Fehler ist. Wo kann ich denn sonst noch was einstellen???
Ich hab in der RC.conf IP_FORW aktiviert...

Hi,

Aktiviere IP_Forw in der rc.conf, sonst klappt dat routing nicht, gib in der FW_SERVICES_INT_TCP="" und
FW_SERVICES_INT_UDP="" alle Ports frei die aus dem INTERNEN Netz zugriff auf die FW haben dürfen. Setze FW_KERNEL_SECURITY="no" auf YES um zusätzlich Funktionalität des Kernels zu aktivieren, setze FW_STOP_KEEP_ROUTING_STATE="no" auf YES damit das Routing beibehalten wird wenn du disconnected wirst und einen reconnect machst. Setze FW_ALLOW_CLASS_ROUTING="no" auf YES, nur der Sicherheit wegen ..müsste auch mit NO gehen,
wichtig ist auf jeden Fall das du FW_FORW in der rc.conf AKTIVIERST, sonst kann auch die FW2 nicht als Router arbeiten

In meiner rc.conf gibts keinen FW_FORW eintrag.
Ich benutze die Firewall2. Habs auch mit deinen Tips nicht hinbekommen. Kann es sein das ich das Problem gar nicht in der Firewall2 suchen muss? Kann der Fehler auch woanders sein??

dann steht dat in der suseconfig, glaub ich. SuSE 7.3 war das, ne ?

Die Variable heisst übrigens IP_Forward und nicht IP_Forw, müsste eigentlich in der /etc/rc.config zu finden sein, immer vorrausgesetzt die Funktion ist im Kernel unterstützt

Ich hab jetzt alles aktiviert... Klappt immer noch nicht.
Soll ich erst mal die firewall weglassen und gucken ob es ohne FW2 funktioniert?

Wass muss ich denn dann machen? Reicht doch dann aus wenn ich IP_FORWARD und Masquerading aktiviere, oder?
