Hi,
ich habe ein Problem mit meiner Maus (Saitek Notebook optical) und meinem Notebook.
Wenn ich sie in den USB Prot stecke, sagt mir die /var/log/messages, dass am USB Port eine Maus sitzt.
Jetzt editiere ich die XF86Config indem ich:
In der ServerLayout Section
InputDevice "Mouse<font size="2">" "SendCoreEvents" ergänze
und eine neue InputDevice Section mit:
IMPS/2 Protokoll und Device: /dev/input/mice anlege.
Die USB Module sind auch geladen, andere USB Geräte finktionieren auch.
Allerdings diese Maus nicht! Wenn ich den X-Server neu starte kann ich immer nur mit dem Touchpad arbeiten, die Maus macht nichts (außer rot leuchten).
Wie kann ich die Maus zum laufen bringen?

Hast Du "SendCoreEvents" "True" gesetzt? Hier mal ein Auszug aus meiner /etc/X11/XF86Config-4:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Optional USB Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Touchpad"
Driver "mouse"

Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Protocol" "PS/2"

Die beiden Geräte müssen natürlich noch unter der Section "ServerLayout" auftauchen...
