Promise Ultra133 TX Problem

Habe folgendes Problem.
Ich habe einen Linux Rechner auf dem RH 9 läuft und musste feststellen dass die HDD die am onboard-ide-controller hängt mit 'hdparm -t /dev/hdX' ~ 45MB/sec schafft, aber meine anderen 2 Platten die an meinem Promise Ultra133 TX2 beide nur max. 30MB/sec schaffen.
An was könnte das liegen?
Das BIOS ist perfekt konfiguriert.

Hier noch die Spezifikationen meines Rechners:

AMD Athlon TB 1GhZ
384 MB RAM
Chaintech 7AJA/0 Mobo
Promise Ultra133 TX2 Controller
1x WD 80GB 2MB Cache 7200UpM
2x WD 40GB 8MB Cache 7200UpM
1x WD 40GB 2MB Cache 7200UpM

haenge die 40gb 8mb am promise? ist der onboard-controller udma100?

Die 2x 40GB mit 8MB Cache hängen am Promise.
Der on-board-controller ist UDMA 100.
