Laptop

#1 Post by peter_reichel »

hallo...

SuperProbe ergibt:

---------------
Chipset: Cirrus CL-GD6205 (Port Probed)
Memory: 512 Kbytes
RAMDAC: Cirrus Logic Build-in 15/16/24-bit DAC
(with 6-bit wide lookup tables (or in 6-bit mode))
---------------

(--) SVGA: There is no mode definition named "640x480"

Hm.
Krigst du denn vor dem "There is no mode definition named..." schon irgend eine Fehlermeldung (etwas a'la "Maximum allowed dot-clock..." zum Beispiel) ?

Linux on Laptops
http://www.linux-laptop.net/

Versuch mal bitte folgendes:

Guck mal in deine XF86Config, da steht "DefaultColorDepth 8".
