Debian 2.2 potato R2 - kein "startx" ?

Hilfe hab gerade Debian 2.2 installiert (komplett). Hab dann mittels "anXious" einen X Server konfiguriert und will jetzt eigentlich mal X starten mit "startx" aber es geht nicht "command not found".
Bei Suse gings, Redhat hatte auch "startx" aber Debian? Wie starte ich mein X ?

Hast du "xbase-clients" installiert? Und zumindest xserver-svga (Xfree3) oder xserver-xfree86 (Xfree4)?

Ich bin bei der Installation auf "All packages" gegangen. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass irgendeines nicht installiert ist.

apt-get install xbase-clients

Ich hab wie gesagt "All packages" installiert und die Version "stable" (war default)

Hm? Das sollte nicht sein. Ist das die Original Debian CD oder irgendwas von Lehmanns oder Linuxland und wer auch immer das noch so vertreibt?
Vielleicht hat da jemand Xfree4 zugepackt, was aber Pakete aus Woody benoetigt... oder sowas... klingt etwas dumm. Hast du eine gute Internetanbindung? Du koenntest die Pakete leicht aus dem Netz bekommen...

Es ist eine von Lehmanns. Dachte die sind eh gut.... Irgendwie komisch, wenn ich alle Pakete isntalliere, dass mir dann was fehlt....
Ist also im x-base-clients das "startx" enthalten??? Ich kann ja mal die CDs durchsuchen und dann händisch dieses Paket nachinstallieren.

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem mit Original-Iso´s. Ich hab´s auch nicht loesen koennen und mache heute einen grossen Bogen um Debian <img src="http://www.pl-forum.de/UltraBoard/Images/Happy.gif" border="0" align="middle">.
