Ich habe vor einiger Zeit mal hier gepostet, dass das Euro-Zeichen bei mir nicht funktioniert. Im Mandrake-Forum hat Corran_Horn jetzt eine Lösung beschrieben, die bei mir ganz gut funktioniert:

I solved the problem (at least for me) very simply:
edit the /etc/sysconfig/i18n
and set
LANG=de_DE@euro.iso8859-15
LC_ALL=de_DE@euro
This file is read by e.g. Xsession. Now in all applications I can write € (EuroSign), even when started from the K-menu. Only on the konsole appears no € (EuroSign), but I don't think I will really need it there <img src="http://www.pl-forum.de/UltraBoard/Images/Wilk.gif" border="0" align="middle">
