Hallo,

da bin ich noch einmal.

Kann man nachfolgender Sicherung entnehmen, on das Band zurückgespult wurde??

Zumindest hast Du (wie in dem anderen Thread beschrieben) /dev/nst0 benutzt, so dass das System beim Schliessen des Devices nicht automatisch das Band zurückspult. Um zu sehen, ob jetzt mehr als nur ein Dump auf dem Band ist, würde ich folgendes machen:

mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind
restore -t -f /dev/nst0
restore -t -f /dev/nst0
restore -t -f /dev/nst0

Das restore übrigens dreimal, falls er das zweite Mal nür über die Filemark auf dem Tape springt und nicht direkt auch das zweite File ausliest. (Das Verhalten kann man m.E. mittels mt ändern, habe jetzt aber nicht die Syntax im Kopf.)
