KDE3: DCOP Communication error; ICE connection rejected

Hallo,
Ich habe meine Frage auch schon im Newsboard zum Thread mit der Anleitung zum KDE kompilieren gepostet. Hier ist die Frage aber geeigneter.
Ich habe schon häufiger KDE selbst kompiliert und dabei sind eigentlich nie Probleme aufgetreten. Auch die 3er Versionen (im Moment die CVS Version vom 19.03.2002) ließen sich bisher problemlos kompilieren. Das eigentlich Problem taucht beim starten auf.
Noch vor dem ersten Splash-Screen stürzt Kbuildsyscoca mit SIG 11 ab. Dann kann man die ersten Einstellungen zu Land und Sprache vornehmen, was problemlos funktioniert. Darauf läuft der Splash-Screen fast durch stürzt dann ebenfalls mit SIG11 ab. Dann kommt noch der Absturz vom Kickermit SIG11.
Da ich X per startx >& kde.log gestartet habe, habe ich herausgefunden, dass die Probleme mit DCOP (DCOP communication error) und ICE (ICE connection rejected) zusammenhängen. Ich habe allerdings keine Ahnung, was ich da machen kann.

Diese Probleme traten auch schon bei KDE 2.2.2 auf; davor (also 2.x) hatte ich derartige Probleme nicht.
System ist Slackware 8.0 mit Kernel 2.4.18 und den dafür entsprechenden Utilities.
Ich hoffe jemand kann mir helfen.

Was erwartest Du von einer CVS-Version? Da sind halt manchmal einige Sachen zerbrochen.

SIG 11 deutet jedenfalls auf einen echten Programmierfehler hin. Melde das doch mal an die Entwickler.

Klar erwarte ich von einer CVS Version nicht den perfekten Desktop. Ich denke aber nicht, dass es daran liegt, dass es eine CVS Version ist. Schließlich hatte ich das Problem auch nach dem Update auf 2.2.2

Hi,

hatte dasa Problem auch mal und ich glaube bei mir hat das löschen des alten .kde Verzeichnisses (kann bie dir anders heißen :) geholfen. Mach aber vor'm löschen ein Backup davon. Nciht das ich Schuld bin wenn alle Deine Einstellungen weg sind und KDE noch immer nciht startet :).

Das habe ich auch schonmal probiert. Auch alles in /tmp was mit kde zu tun hat gelöscht. Kein Erfolg...

Hi,

2. Versuch Dir zu helfen:
Vieleicht liegts an den Start Skripts von KDE. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass die Start Skripts von SuSE sehr gut funktionieren und ich denke Sie funktionieren besser wenn man KDE2 gleich zeitig verwenden will als die Skripts die bei KDE dabei sind. Die SuSE Skripts sollten eigentlich auch auf anderen Distris funktionieren, wenn Du willst, kann ich Sie Dir zu mailen.
