Stromausfall >>>> ext3 im Ar...

Hi leutz ,

ich hab hier ein Problem ,

nach einem Stromausfall konnte ich nicht mehr von meinem System booten ,
darauf hin hab ich probehalber ein neues system installiert um es von dort aus zu mounten, doch weit gefehlt.
Beim Mounten sag er :bash-2.05a# mount /dev/hda1
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1,
or too many mounted file systems
bash-2.05a#


aber im fstab stehts so drin :


/dev/hda1 /root/suse ext3 defaults 1 0


wie kann ich es wieder herstellen, die daten daruf sind mir ,wie kann es auch anders sein WICHTIG

Hallo.
Ich hatte ein änliches Problem, steht auch unter Update/ Templer. Meine Computer ,ATX,
hat beim hochfahren abgeschaltet. Dann habe ich versucht noch mit Hand zu booten aber es
ging nichts mehr. Mit einem Update Man 8.1 auf 8.2 läuft mein System wieder, allerdings
im Win feeling, also sehr wackelig.Versuch doch mal ein Update, oder mit Knoppix soll es auch gehen.

Notinstallation booten,
kaputte installation nicht mounten,
e2fsck ......../dev/kaputt
Es kann sein das Du erst die >> ungemountet << partition auf ext2 umwandeln musst und dann den e2fsck durchführen.
Wenn es nicht laufen will, mal das ganze ohne blockzise Angabe,
also ungefähr so
e2fsck -f -c -y /dev/kaputt

mal blöd gefragt wie wandle ioch das format von ext3 zu ext2 um?
Einfach bei der Fstab das ersetzten oder wie?

Na, wenn alle Stricke reissen, kannst Du ja einfach das letzte Backup wieder einspielen ).

hmm das wird wohl etwas schwierig ohne datensicherung

ich hab mich wohl blenden lass von dem FILEJOURNBALSYSTEM.. hmm also das ist schon das 2mal das mir ext3 beim Stomausfall abschmiert.. Das kann doch net sein oder???

Welches ist den da besser geeigntet??

Converting ext2 filesystems

An ext2 filesystem maybe converted to ext3 by creating a journal file on it. To do this, run
tune2fs -j /dev/hdXX
on the target filesystem (which may be mounted). The filesystem is now ext3 capable. This means that it can be mounted as type ext3. Now you can unmount/mount (after changing your /etc/fstab appropriately) to do this. To mount the root filesystem ext3, the easiest thing is probably to just reboot.

Creating new ext3 filesystems

Simply run
mke2fs -j /dev/hdXX
to create a new ext3 filesystem on that device.

Switching between ext2 and ext3

ext3 filesystems may still be mounted by ext2 as long as they have been cleanly unmounted. ext2 will refuse to mount ext3 filesystems which have not been cleanly shut down, because there is live data still in the journal which ext2 does not know how to deal with.

The e2fsck application from e2fsprogs can perform journal replay, so running

e2fsck -fy /dev/hdXX
on a damaged ext3 filesystem will repair it, allowing ext2 to mount it.

ext3 software will refuse to mount an ext2 filesystem - at present there must be a journal file on the filesystem.

also umbedingt e2fsck durchführen, vorher versuchen an deine /home datei ranzukommen.
Wie keine Ahnung.
Ich benutze reiserfs bin aber auch noch nicht ganz zufrieden.
Auf jedenfall habe ich eine kleine paralell Instalation (extra Platte) mit den nötigsten Werkzeugen um, falls mein System ausfällt noch zu retten was zu retten ist.
Unter anderem benutze ich immer eine extra Partition für mein /home <img src="http://www.pl-forum.de/UltraBoard/Images/Wilk.gif" border="0" align="middle">
Auf diese weise kann ich immer noch versuchen von dieser partition die daten zu retten.

Actually there is only little need to do so, because in most cases it is sufficient to mount the partition explicitely as ext2. But if you really need to convert your partion back to ext2 just do the following on an unmounted partition:
tune2fs -O ^has_journal /dev/hdaX
To be on the safe side you should force a fsck run on this partition afterwards:
fsck.ext2 -f /dev/hdaX
After this procedure you can safely delete the .journal file if there was any.
