Hallo,
ich stehe vor folgendem Problem... ich möchte mir eine Linux Live-CD erzeugen... eine erste Hilfe könnte mir Linux from Scrach geben...allerdings steht da nirgends drin wie ich das ganze auf CD brennen kann und zwar so dass alles schön bootet und läuft (ähnlich Knoppix, oder SuSE Live CD). Ich meine hier mal einen Thread zum Thema gesehen zu haben allerdings finde ich ihn nicht.....
Jemand hier der mir helfen kann??
brauche eigentlich nur wenige sachen..... ssh, bash, dhcp client, etwas grafisches mit nem Browser zum surfen. fertig.

dunno wieso du das rad neu erfinden musst, wenn's das schon gibt? was stort dich an knoppix und anderen?

Bei Debian gibt es das Programm bootcd. Ein Auszug aus der man-Page:

mand bootcdwrite. If your system has no CD-Writer you can build a
bootcd via NFS on a remote System with CD-Writer or you can only create

boot time you can save them on FLOPPY with the command bootcdflopcp. If
booting from your CD-drive is not supported, booting from FLOPPY is

format it and make it bootable automatically. Bootcd also supports
parisc/hppa, initrd root fs, devfs and syslinux/isolinux.

mich stört an knoppix nix ABER, das was ich vorhab soll eine "surfstation" auf einem öffentlichem Rechner geben. Die User sollen nur einen Browser bekommen sonst nix! und das ganze von CD damit nicht doch jemand an die wichtigen Dateien kommt und diese dann irgendwie umbiegt. ausserdem ist es doch ne gute Übung.

Hab gestern mal angefangen mit meinem Live-System. alles läuft wie ich es gern haben wollte. jetzt gings nur noch drum wie ich das auf cd bekomme. aber jetzt weiss ich wenigstens wo ich suchen muss. weiss vielleicht jemand was für tool das unter RH, MD oder SuSE macht?
