AVIFILE und Sound

Moin moin,

habe hier ein Kleines Problem mit Avifile.
Wenn ich aviplay starte kann ich mir leider keine Videos ansehen, am Anfang hatte ich noch alsa installiert, hier kam von aviplay die Fehlermeldung
das er nicht auf den Soundzugreifen kann. Also habe ich nach FreeOSS umgestellt (was schon nicht schön ist, aber man kan ja ncht alles haben), aber trotzdem habe ich kein Bild und kein Ton, aviplay "Friert" ein. Die mitgelieferte Benchmarksoftware von avifile Funktioniert, hier habe ich ein Bild, aber kein Ton. Denke aber das das so schon in Ordnung ist. Hat jemand das gleiche Problem, oder eine Lösung dafür ??
Oder Hat jemand avifile sogar mit alsas am laufen?

Hallo,

es ist zwar nur eine Vermutung, aber vielleicht stimmt diese <img src="http://www.pl-forum.de/UltraBoard/Images/Wilk.gif" border="0" align="middle">
Benutzt Du vielleicht KDE2. Kann es unter Umstaenden sein, dass "Arts" Deine Soundausgabe blockiert? Kann es sein, dass eine andere Applikation es tut? Versuche avifile zu starten und schaue Dir die Auslastung mit "top" an. Vielleicht siehst Du da, was die Ausgabe blockiert.
