gtk-warnings beim Installieren

Hallo !

Hab hier ein mozilla1.4....sea.tar.gz und will es installieren.
Beim Aufrufen des moz-Installers kommt (ebenso bei netscape 7.2 tar.gz)
(NACH dem tar Aufruf usw)

gtK-warning : cannot open display

Hat jemand einen Tip, wie ich da weiterkomme. Nervt ungemein !
Von X-Konsole heißt es noch zusätzlich ":0.0"


GTK 1.2.10-284 findet rpm auf SuSE 8.0
