"OpenGL Beschleunigung nicht aktivierbar" bei SuSE 9.0

Hallo zusammen,

Ich hab seit kurzen SuSE 9.0 auf meinen Rechner. Das Problem ist, dass die Software zur 3D Hardwareunterstüzung nicht mitgeliefert wird. Weiss jemand wo man die benötigten Treiber herbekommt und auch installiert? Hab schon einiges versucht bekomm es aber nicht gebacken.

Nummero uno: Für was für eine Karte denn?

Nvidia-Treiber kannst Du mit YOU runter laden.
Bei ATI wird's eher häßlich......., aber einen Treiber gibts unter http://www.ati.com/

hab ne karte von nVidia. hab den patch mit YOU runtergeladen und installiert. 3D lässt sich aber trotzdem nicht aktivieren.

Du mußt in deiner XF86Config (liegt in "/etc/X11") in der Section "Device" die Zeile Driver "nv" in Driver "nvidia" ändern und in Section "Module" sollte eine Zeile Load "glx" zu finden sein.

Sieht gut aus. Was sagt denn das Programm 3Ddiag????

Einfach ein "Alt+F2" . Darin "kdesu xterm" eingeben.
Danach Passwort eingeben.
In dem Terminal kannst du dann 3Ddiag eintippen, um das Proggi zu starten. Vielleicht musst du es aber Vorher noch installieren. Das kann ich ja nicht wissen.

Schön, daß es anscheinend endlich bei dir Funktioniert. Dann brauche ich ja nicht mehr jeden Tag zu schauen, ob du endlich schon geantwortet hast.
