Suse9.1 macht partitions table kaputt

Hi all,

ich hab suse meine acer 8005LMi 80 GB Platte automatisch partitionieren lassen, und das untere rausgekommen. Windows bootet seitdem nicht mehr (wrong partition type oder so):

das Suse update zu parted funktioniert leider nicht bei mir (springt immer zurück ins Auswahlfenster und tut irgendwie nix), dann das was der tipp von Heise macht:

tja. ich weiss nicht weiter. Was würdet Ihr machen?

achso, man siehts vielleicht nicht sofort, aber die Partitionen im partition table überschneiden sich zum Teil. Das würd ich als Problem sehen.

Installationsdefekt

Vorsicht ist bei neuen Distributionen mit Kernel 2.6 geboten. Ein Bug im Partitionierungstools Parted in Verbindung mit Kernel 2.6 ändert die Partitionstabelle, so dass das Windows-System nicht mehr hochfährt. Betroffen sind die Distributionen Mandrake 10, Red Hat Fedora Core 2, sowie Suse Linux 9.1. Wie man den Bug umgeht respektive behebt, wird im unten stehenden Link erklärt.

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem mit SuSE 9.1.
Mit Knoppix kann man noch auf die Win Partion zugreifen,mit dem ranish Partionsmanager habe ich den mbr wieder herstellen können.

Hi,
der Tipp hat leider nicht funktioniert, aber die Knoppix Idee find ich pfiffig
Der Suse Support hat mir aber geraden alles neu aufzusetzen, und da das sowieso ein Neurechner ist kein soo großes Problem.
