Scanner-Installtion unzuverlässig

#1 Post by andrixi »

"linux:~ # ln -s /usr/bin/scanimage /usr/X11R6/bin/scanimage
ln: `/usr/X11R6/bin/scanimage': File exists
linux:~ # rcsane restart
Resetting permissions on scan device(s)Reload service slpd           failed
                                                                     done
Reload service slpd                                                  failed
                                                                     failed
linux:~ #                                                                                                       "

Scannerprobleme

#2 Post by benito »

Hallo Andreas,

Hallo Benito

Ich bin deinen Anweisungen gefolgt. Tipp 2 kann ich aber nicht durchführen, weil:

@linux:~> scanimage -L

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).
---------------------------------------------------------
@linux:~> sane-find-scanner

# No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.

# No USB scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
# you have loaded a driver for your USB host controller and have installed a
# kernel scanner module.

# Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports can't be
# detected by this program.

# You may want to run this program as root to find all devices. Once you
# found the scanner devices, be sure to adjust access permissions as
# necessary
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
@linux:~> scanimage --list-devices

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation

andre@linux:~> scanimage --list-device
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@linux:/dev/scanners> less cuecat
cuecat is not a regular file (use -f to see it)
@linux:/dev/scanners> less -f cuecat
cuecat: Permission denied
@linux:/dev/scanners> cat cuecat
cat: cuecat: Keine Berechtigung

Scannerprobleme

#4 Post by benito »

Hallo Andreas,
Also ersteinmal vergessen.
Ergebnis bitte wieder hier hin.
---

linux:/usr/sbin # rcsane restart

Reload service slpd failed

Trotzdem findet sagt xsane beim start über das Startmenü "No divices available"

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

details hier: http://www.freecolormanagement.com/sane ... anner.html

#7 Post by andrixi »

Epson Perfection 640
Hersteller:
Vendor ID: 0x04b8 Product ID: 0x010c

Hier im usb-Unterstützung-Kerneltest:
Vendor=04b8 ProdID=010c Rev= 0.01

Macht das was aus?

usb-script beim start ausführen

#8 Post by andrixi »

Hallo Benito!

Ich habe ein Script gefunden: http://home.in.tum.de/~flaig/linux/rc.usbscanner/

(Fundort: http://www.pl-forum.de/forum/viewtopic. ... usb+fehler),

Aber wie sorge ich dafür, "that the skript will be executed at startup"?
Hat das was mit der .profile-Datei zu tun?
Was muss ich da reinschreiben?

Slackware will never die!

xsane, xscanimage und gimp nur als root ???

#10 Post by andrixi »

Hallo Benito oder sonstwer!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Neue Zwischenergebnis:

Der Startlink könnte dann heißen S22rc.usbscanner => ../rc.usbscanner, der Stoplink entsprechend K22rc.usbscanner => ../rc.usbscanner.

Schau mal hier: http://www.pl-forum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1026119
