Hallo,
ich habe mir mit webmin eine vpn verbindung eingerichtet. wenn ich mich dann einwählen will kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
.. connection failed! Check the log messages below for information why.

/usr/sbin/pppd: In file /etc/ppp/options.pptp: unrecognized option 'require-mppe-stateful'
Sep 14 07:03:20 localhost pppd[3465]: In file /etc/ppp/options.pptp: unrecognized option 'require-mppe-stateful'
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3474]: anon warn[decaps_hdlc:pptp_gre.c:197]: short read (-1): Input/output error
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3474]: anon warn[decaps_hdlc:pptp_gre.c:209]: pppd may have shutdown, see pppd log
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[callmgr_main:pptp_callmgr.c:228]: Closing connection
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[ctrlp_rep:pptp_ctrl.c:243]: Sent control packet type is 12 'Call-Clear-Request'
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[ctrlp_disp:pptp_ctrl.c:770]: Received Stop Control Connection Request.
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[ctrlp_rep:pptp_ctrl.c:243]: Sent control packet type is 4 'Stop-Control-Connection-Reply'
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[call_callback:pptp_callmgr.c:77]: Closing connection
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[pptp_conn_close:pptp_ctrl.c:425]: Closing PPTP connection
Sep 14 07:03:22 localhost pptp[3468]: anon log[pptp_write_some:pptp_ctrl.c:497]: write error: Bad file descriptor
The MPPE protocol for VPN encryption requires PPP daemon and kernel
support. However, the errors above suggest that one or both are not
available on your system. If the PPTP server does not require MPPE, try
turning off all options related to it on the global PPP options page.

Das ist der Auszug aus der logfile:
Sep 14 06:59:25 localhost pppd[3257]: In file /etc/ppp/options.pptp: unrecognized option 'require-mppe-stateful'
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3266]: anon warn[decaps_hdlc:pptp_gre.c:197]: short read (-1): Input/output error
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3266]: anon warn[decaps_hdlc:pptp_gre.c:209]: pppd may have shutdown, see pppd log
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[callmgr_main:pptp_callmgr.c:228]: Closing connection

Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[ctrlp_disp:pptp_ctrl.c:770]: Received Stop Control Connection Request.
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[ctrlp_rep:pptp_ctrl.c:243]: Sent control packet type is 4 'Stop-Control-Connection-Reply'
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[call_callback:pptp_callmgr.c:77]: Closing connection
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[pptp_conn_close:pptp_ctrl.c:425]: Closing PPTP connection
Sep 14 06:59:27 localhost pptp[3260]: anon log[pptp_write_some:pptp_ctrl.c:497]: write error: Bad file descriptor

Die chap-secret ist konfiguriert. Weis jemand Bescheid was diese Meldung aussagen soll?

Gruß

Kommentiere doch mal die ungültigen Parameter aus der /etc/ppp/options.pptp aus, damit der pppd durchstartet und überprüfe, ob der Kernel ppp unterstützt.
