DMA Problem mit Sis5513

irgendwie bekomme ich mit meiner Platte(40GB Seagate (ST340810A)) kein vernünftiges DMA hin.
bisher max. 10 MB/s, meist aber rund 5. mit 2.6.13 im Moment maximal 3...

Hier die Fehlermeldung die manchmal beim DMA einschalten kommt:

Leider kann ich dir dabei nicht helfen. Hatte auch schonmal probleme mit einem SiS Chipsatz. Ich habe irgendwann die weisse Fahne geschwungen, war nichts zu machen.

Es sieht so aus, als würdest du warten müssen, bis evt. irgendwann bessere Treiber verfügbar sind....

schalte dma im kernel ab und benutze nur hdparm.
die chipsatz treiber muss man natürlich trotzdem mit einkompilieren.
es kann probleme geben mit dem dma im kernel.

ps: ich gehe davon aus das die platte und die kabel (ide/strom) in ordnung sind.
