What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] /usr/include/linux/

The header files in /usr/include are generally for C libraries, not for the
running kernel. If you do not have kernel header files in your /usr/src
directory, you probably do not have the kernel-source package installed. Are you
sure that /usr/include contains the header files associated with your running
kernel? [no] yes

The path "/usr/include/linux" is an existing directory, but it does not contain
at least one of these directories "linux", "asm", "net" as expected.

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] <-----????

802_11.h
8250_pci.h
a.out.h
ac97_codec.h
acct.h acpi.h
adb.h
adb_mouse.h
adfs_fs.h
adfs_fs_i.h
adfs_fs_sb.h

Was genau steht bei dir dort drin?

#12 Post by frank rudolph »

Ja auf diese meldung habe ich gewartet :-)))
also
Kernel sourcen sind jertzt da!!!!
dann
cd /usr/src/linux
und dort
make cloneconfig

danach
vmware-config.pl

#15 Post by bydennis »

Guten Abend,
