Ich versteh die Welt nicht mehr!

Tag Leute,
im Moment habe ich mit SuSE mehr Ärger als Freude! Der Grund ist einfach: Es tut nicht, was es soll! Meine Soundkarte etwa habe ich bei der Installation nicht eingerichtet, stattdessen wurde der AC97-Chip auf der Hauptplatine (der ja eigentlich im BIOS abgeschaltet war!!!! (wie kann Linux den wieder aktivieren???)) als primäre Soundausgabe gewählt, okay. Einfach gelöscht und meine Soundblaster Audigy ausgewählt. Prima, läuft alles super. Doch am nächsten Tag das böse erwachen, aus den Lautsprechern dringt nur ein grausames Rauschen! Also mal die Soundkarte gelöscht und rebootet, beim Start von KDE wird eine Melodie abgespielt, eigentlich dürfte nix zu hören sein, denn meine Soundkarte ist ja "ausm Sys gekickt", denkste: Es rauscht! Und zwar genau dann, wenn Sound abgespielt wird! Ich verstehe das echt nicht mehr, total frustrierend!!!
Selbst wenn ich nun die Einrichtung der (im Moment ja abgeschalteten) Soundkarte übernehmen wollte, zeigte Yast mir den Beweis: Nix drinnen. Wie sooll dann bitteschön der Sound abgespielt werden???
Ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen!

Yast murkst manchmal bei der Soundkarteninstallation etwas rum. Schau mal hier:

Da ist beschrieben, wie man die Soundkarte ohne Yast konfiguriert.

Hallo Gunnar,
ich habe exakt diese Schritte durchgeführt, die SuSE-Support-Datenbank durchsucht, trotzdem: Es rauscht weiter, verdammt, ich drehe noch durch!!! Warum???? Selbst wenn ich per "rcalsasound stop" den Soundtreiber abschalte und dann die Daten "/etc/modprobe.de/sound" manuell "kille", trotzdem rauscht es weiter, Günther...Kennst du vielleicht ne andere Lösung? Ich bin echt am verzweifeln!

Seltsam ist auch, dass es, egal welche Lautstärke in alsamixer eingestellt wurde, immer gleich laut rauscht, ob das was zu bedeuten hat?

Hallo Leute,
ich habe nun ne Kleinigkeit herausgefunden (entschuldigung für den dreifach-Post.....leider lassen sich die Posts ja nicht bearbeiten...): Wenn ich im Alsamixer die Soundlautstärke auf 100 stelle und den Lautstärkeregler meines Boxensets aufdrehe, kann ich den SOund hören, allerdings stark rauschend - Wisst ihr Rat?

Ohje, was soll ich denn nun machen? Wenn ich "alsamixer snd_pcm snd_oss" eingebe, kommt exakt das selbe Fenster, wie ohne die Parameter.
Wie komme ich nun zu normalem Sound?

Hallo Klopskuchen,
ich habe mir nach einem Reboot mal die Meldungen beim Start angeschaut, ein Schlag traf mich: Ganze 7 SOUNDKARTEN waren eingerichtet, oje, habe ich die wohl nicht richtig wieder entfernt? Ich dachte, es langt, die Datei /etc/modprobe.d/sound "kalt zu machen"....Und nun? Ich denke, einfach mal ALLEs weghauen und die Soundkarte dann aml "ordentlich" einrichten, aber wie? Yast zeigt nur eine Soundkarte an!

Ganze 7 SOUNDKARTEN waren eingerichtet
Wenn ein Gerät während des Bootens mehrmals auftaucht, wurde wahrscheinlich nur die Ressourcenzuteilung verändert (Interrupt, IOMem etc.pp.).
Wenn ich "alsamixer snd_pcm snd_oss" eingebe,
snd_pcm ist ein Kernelmodul. Geladen werden Kernelmodule mit "modprobe" oder "insmod". Sofern diese Funktion als Modul kompiliert wurde.

Ich benuzte nicht SuSE, kann mir aber vorstellen, daß Dir hotplug dazwischenfunkt und Kernelmodule für die Onboard-Karte lädt. Finde am besten heraus, welches Modul für die Karte zuständig ist (lsmod) und trage es dann in /etc/hotplug/blacklist ein, so daß es nicht geladen wird. Ich hoffe Du findest die Datei bei SuSE an derselben Stelle.

Ein pcm-Regler sollte da sein, im Alsamixer. Die Treiber dafür sind bei dir geladen. Vielleicht hast du was übersehen? Bei mir hab ich folgende Einstellungen im Mixer (von links nach rechts):

Lediglich die beiden "fetten" müssen was hergeben, um am analogen Ausgang Lala zu machen.
