Nach beenden von X nur noch schwarz !?!

Hallo !

Hat jemand dieses Phänomen schon mal erlebt:
Ich boote mein Linux (Konsole ist wunderbar zu sehen) und starte anschließend X(startx).

Alles läuft wunderbar bis ich X beende bzw. in eine Konsole (mit ALT+STRG+Fx) wechseln will -- die Konsole ist nicht mehr sichtbar und der Monitor schaltet auf Störung ;-(

Das ganze läßt sich nur noch durch ein "blindes" rebooten beheben oder mit startx (Dann fährt der X-Server komischerweise wieder schön hoch !?!)

Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegt (SuSE -6.2) ????

was hast Du denn fuer eine Grafikkarte und Monitor ?

Welchen XServer benutzt Du ?

Poste doch einfach mal deine Konfig.

kannst Du daran den Fehler erkennen ?
Dieses Phänomen taucht seltsamerweise nur sporadisch auf <img src="http://www.pro-linux.de/Images/TooHappy.gif" border="0" align="middle"> ?

Hallo Linuxfreund,

ersteinmal vielen Dank fuer Deine Konfig.

Ich denke - halt Dich fest - es ist Deine Maus ! Trage deine Maus doch mal als standarttyp an TTYS1 ein und aktiviere emulate 3 button ! ich denke thats it ! Ich kann mich dunkel daran erinnern, dass ich "damals" mit der SuSE 6.0 ein aehnliches Problem gehabt habe.

Ich hoffe ich konnte Dir hiermit evtl. weiterhelfen.
