Hallo zusammen,

Riesen Problem, bei uns in der Firma haben wir uns selber einen Fileserver (SUSE8.0) insalliert.
SAMBA ( 2.2.3a ) mit zwei freigegebenen Verzeichnissen + Home eingerichtet.
Nun haben wir das Problem das im Verzeichniss /verwaltung ständig die MS Office Dokumente (von mehrerern W2K Rechnern)folgende
Probleme bereiten:
- nachdem ich zwischen 3-10 Dokumente geöffet hab hängt sich Word und Exel auf.
- Beim speichern hängt sich Office aus
- Manche Dokumente hängen sich während der Bearbeitung auf.

das Verzeichniss /cad funkt einmandfrei!

Ich bin kein großer Linuxexperte aber könnt einer die samba.conf mal anschauen ob ich im samba einen Fehler
hab oder ob es an was anderm (Netzwerkeinstellungen ... ) liegen kann???

So guten tag erstmal also alles was du nicht brauchst kannst du aus der datei löschen ! weil die ist viel zu riesig ! Probier die Konfig mal mit Swat !
Du solltest encrypt passworts auf yes setzen ! und dein os level solltest du hoch setzen ! Sonst kann ich dir auch nicht weiter helfen! Und vielleicht liegt es am zu wenig Arbeitsspeicher ! Vielleicht fehlen den User auch in dem augenblick die Rechte ! was sagen denn die log datein !
