Ich habe 2 Karten 1x PCI u. 1x PCMCIA vom gleichen Hersteller und gleichen Chipsatz und auch die gleichen Probleme!
Die Treiber lassen sich auf meiner SuSE8.2 ohne Probleme laden

wenn ich jetzt aber mit "iwconfig wlan0 essid testserver mode Ad-hoc" oder andere Parameter eingeben möchte, gibt er zwar keinen Fehler zurück, jedoch werden sie der Karte nicht zugewiesen. Also keine änderungen bei "iwconfig". Ich kann mich mit meiner IP anpingen, jedoch nicht von einen anderen Rechner.
Was bedeutet die Warnung bei "iwconfig"? Was habe ich da falsch kompiliert??
Lt. Hersteller werden die Karten problemlos unter Linux unterstüzt!
Vieleicht hat von euch Profis einer eine Ahnung, bzw. was mache ich falsch???
