bringe VNC Server auf einem dediziertem STRATO Server nicht zum laufen !

hallo

habe VNC server auf einem dediziertem
STRATO server mit suse 8.1 und fester IP adresse installiert:

# rpm -qa | grep vnc
vnc-3.3.3r2-379

wenn ich vncserver starte,
bekomme ich im log:

leider zugriff via browser von zu hause ist NICHT möglich.

via VNCVIEWER mit port 5901
geht auch nicht.

weiss jemand an was es liegt ?

ich weiss dass VNC sichercheitstechnisch sehr bedenklich und unsicher ist,
aber ich brauche unbedingt diesen zugriff.

Ob der Fehlermeldungen gehe ich mal stark davon aus, dass auf dem STRATO Server kein X11 installiert ist.
Warum auch? Das soll ein Webserver sein da tut Stato schon das richtige, wenn sie dort möglichst wenig Software drauf installieren. Für was braucht man auf einem Webserver denn eigentlich X11? Du kannst doch alles entweder über die HTTP-Oberfläche oder die Konsole erledigen?! Und sollte doch einmal eine X11 Applikation benötigt werden (grafisches YaST2 ?) dann kannst du doch eine SecureShell Verbindung zu diesem Server aufbauen und einen X11 Tunnel aufsetzen indem du die X11 Ausgabe auf deinen lokal laufenden X11 Server umleitest.
