Hallo!

Ich habe das Problem, die DMA-Unterstuetzung fuer meine hda zu aktivieren. Ich habe DMA-Unterstuetzung, Controller-Support usw. fest im Kernel. Beim Booten scheint auch noch alles richtig zu laufen:

Fuer die hdb scheint das auch zu funktionieren, hier habe ich eine Beschleunigung erreicht. Nur ist das alte Teil jetzt sogar schneller als hda, deren Potenzial ich auf ca. 12 MB/sec schaetze.

Was mich auch stutzig macht, ist diese Zeile aus der hda-Information:
RawCHS=16383/16/63, TrkSize=0, SectSize=0
Das stimmt weder mit den Bios-Einstellungen noch mit der Kernelmeldung oben ueberein. Und was bedeuten die ganzen Sachen in der Config= {...} Zeile?

Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ach so, ich vergass:
Linux 2.4.4, Slackware 7.1

Manuelles probieren mit hdparm -c1 -d1 usw. bringt auch nichts.
