Ich habe ein Problem mit dem Konqueror von KDE 2.1, und zwar werden einige Seiten nicht korrekt dargestellt. Hier mal ein <!--http--><a href="http://home.t-online.de/home/christof.m ... chuss1.png" target="_blank">Screenshot</a><!--url-->
Bei www.giga.de wird immer so eine arabische Schriftart benutzt. Kann mir da jemand helfen?
Auf meinem System läuft XFree 4.01 auf einer Geforce 2

Hast Du die Java-Engine nicht eingeschaltet? Darüberhinaus gibt es Seiten mit Schriften, die kann ich auch nicht lesen, weil sie so zerrissen sind.

Das Problem die Wahl der Schriftkodierung bei giga.de. Im Quelltext sieht man, daß sie auf Unicode 8 (utf-8) umgestellt haben.. Vielleicht fehlt noch ein Modul für diese Art der Kodierung..
Du kannst die verschiedenen Kodierungen selber testen... Auf pro-linux.de z.B mal eben unter Ansicht-> Kodierung festlegen auf Unicode 8 umstellen... Sieht dann genauso aus, wie bei giga.de

Habs jetzt selber gelöst!
Und zwar hab ich mal auf bugs.kde.org ein wenig gestöbert und bin über diese Lösung gestoßen.
It seems that konqueror uses the iso10646-1 charset for these pages. As
default, it takes the first font (in alphabetical order) which supports this
charset. Problem is, that this font is completely unreadable (at least on my
SuSE distribution and on your computer). You may change the default font for
iso10646 in Configure Konqueror -> Konqueror Browser -> Appearance.
Unfortunatly all my other iso10646 fonts look very ugly, too. I solved this
by adding a line saying
"arial.ttf -monotype-Arial-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso10646-1"
to the appropriate fonts.dir file (of course, one needs to increase the font
count at the beginning of the file as well). This allows me to choose Arial
for UTF-8 pages.
But IMHO KDE should offer an easier solution...
