rechner schaltet nicht von alleine aus..
hi ich habe mir einen neuen kernel kompiliert, und nun schaltet der rechner nach dem shutdown nicht mehr alleine aus. im kernel ist apm und acpi ausgewählt, der apmd läuft auch.. muss ich evtl. noch woander was ändern. weiss nicht weiter. bitte helft mir

Das Problem hatte ich bei Debian auch. Bei mir siehts zur Zeit so aus:
Kernel: 2.4.21-pre4
[ ] ACPI Support
<*> Advanced Power Management BIOS support
[ ] Ignore USER SUSPEND
[*] Enable PM at boot time
[*] Make CPU Idle calls when idle
[ ] Enable console blanking using APM
[ ] RTC stores time in GMT
[ ] Allow interrupts during APM BIOS calls
[ ] Use real mode APM BIOS call to power off
in dieser Konfiguration schalten meine Rechner beim beenden ab.
