Apache Startprobleme nach SuSE 7.2 Neuinstallation

Hallo!

Ich habe mir nach langem Hin und Her SuSE 7.2 Prof. gekauft.
Eine Standard-Installation ohne grafischer Oberfläche gemacht,
neu gestartet und was passiert? Apache startet nicht.

Mit rcapache start bekomme ich folgende Meldung:

starting httpd [LDAP PERL PHP4]/usr/sbin/rcapache: line 172: 1530
Segmentation fault
$HTTPD_BIN $INET6 -t -f /etc/httpd/httpd.conf $MODULES
>/var/log/httpd/rcapache.log 2>&1

Die Konfigurationsdateien etc. wurde nicht verändert.

Suse Support meint, das sei zu speziell und falle nicht
unter "Installationssupport". Und nur der sei kostenlos.


Ich hoffe, hier in diesem Forum kann mir jemand helfen.

Dann benenne Deine (momentan) nicht funktionierende httpd.conf um (httpd.conf.test) und deinstalliere doch einmal Apache, samt Contribs und allen Modulen (mod_*).
Starte neu und installiere Apache mit Contribs und den Modulen (denke bitte daran: entweder php3 oder php4).
Setze die start_httpd="yes" in der /etc/rc.config und starte neu.

Welche Fehlermeldung kommt nun?

Nun bekomme ich beim Starten von Apache:

starting httpd [ LDAP PERL PHP4 ]
see /var/log/httpd/rcapache.log

In rcapache.log steht:

Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/httpd/suse/loadmodul.conf
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libssl.so into server: /usr/lib/apache/libssl.so:
cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

Ok. So wie ich das verstehe, fehlt libssl.so. Die müßte ich also noch
installieren. YAST und YAST2 bemängeln aber keine Abhängigkeiten.

In welcher Serie/Paket ist libssl.so enthalten?

Installiere mod_ssl (Sicherheitsrelevante Software) nach, oder ziehe Dir die Datei von www.ermlich.org/ftp.
