setzt von euch einer da drausen vielleicht Cygwin ein und kennt sich noch damit aus ??
XFree86 ist installiert. Beim Starten von kde
wird der Desktop aber nicht richtig angezeigt.
Irgendwie passen wohl die Fonts nicht richtig.
Man kann fast nichts erkennen und viele Symbole
fehlen auch.
Kann mir einer sagen, was da zu tun wäre ?

Wenn auf deiner Linux Box ein Fontserver läuft kannst du dem unter Windows laufenden XFree86 beibringen sich die Fonts von dem Fontserver zu holen.

The -fp option is for a font server, so cygwin/xfree86 will get the necessary fonts from the machine you tell it.
