Probleme mit ISDN Fritz A1 (ISA)

Hallo,

ich hab inzwischen alle möglichen Tutorien durchgeforstet und auch jede X-beliebige Mailingliste gelesen, aber irgendwie hab ich keinerlei Hilfe zu meinem Problem finden können:

ich möchte unter Debian Sarge meine ISDN-Karte zum Laufen bringen. "isdn" und "hisax" sind als Module mit den richtigen IO und IRQ gestartet, und auch die Blockdevices "ippp0" sowie "isdnctrl" existieren. ifconfig zeigt nur loopback und die Netzwerkkarte an; und das Problem tritt immer auf, wenn ich versuche, isdnctrl zu starten. Dann gibts die wohl bekannte Fehlermeldung: "Can't open /dev/isdnctrl or /dev/isdn/isdnctrl: No such device"

Zur Fehlermeldung; die Devices bestehen, ich benutze einen 2.4er oder einen 2.6er Kernel (mit ISDN-Unterstützung), hat beides die selbe Folge.

Nun könnte es ja sein, daß die Karte eine Macke hat, oder daß das Plug'n'Play Probleme macht, aber das seltsame ist, daß ich mit Knoppix überhaupt keine Probleme habe, die Karte anzusprechen. Unter Suse 8.2 hats da auch noch nie Ärger gegeben. Den IRQ und die IO hab ich dementsprechend genauso wie in Suse und Knoppix mit modconf geladen, aber dennoch läßt sich einfach dieses Device nicht laden...

Ich bin ratlos. Nirgendwo im Netz hab ich noch einen Ansatz von Hilfe finden können. Hat irgendjemand eine Idee, wo ich noch suchen könnte?

=> Wenn als Modul, hast du die Module auch geladen?

konfiguriere mal dein isdn neu (dpkg-reconfigure isdn)
