Vergiß Debian. Debian ist auf dem PPC nicht wirklich toll (ich hab auch ein PowerBook G4). Die Debian Potatoe ist zu alt, die Woody und Sid haben echte Probleme. Trotz Neuinstallation (und Linux Keycodes) hab ich z.Z. keine Umlaute, und keine AltGr+Zahlen ({[]...) Zeichen - das deutsche Keyboard Layout ist total Buggy - mc, w3m ... verabschieden sich mit nem Segfault etc.

Nimm die SuSE - ich hatte mal die 7.1PPC drauf - die hat alles erkannt und war sofort installiert (YaST ist zwar nicht so toll wie apt, aber was solls)
