An update for tuned is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Advanced
Mission Critical Update Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Telecommunications Update Service, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Update Services for SAP Solutions.

Red Hat Product Security has rated this update as having a security impact of
Moderate. A Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) base score, which gives a detailed severity rating, is available for each vulnerability from the CVE link(s) in the References section.

The tuned packages provide a service that tunes system settings according to a
selected profile.

Security Fix(es):

* tuned: improper sanitization of `instance_name` parameter of the
`instance_create()` method (CVE-2024-52337)
