Probleme mit Nvidia Treibern

Hi,

wenn ich versuche die Nvidia treiber zu installieren, stürtzt Linux beim start von X total ab. Ich hab SuSe 8.0 eine Geforce 2 MX und die neuesten Nvidia Treiber.

Irgendwelche Ideen?

Zu Testzwecken bei "driver" nv statt nvidia reinschreiben. Wenns dann geht, liegts an den nvidia-Treibern.

Ich hab das jetzt mal ganz anders gemacht. Und zwar hab ich die Nvidia Treiber installiert (rpm -i ...) und dann nochmal Yast2 aufgerufen. Yast scheint das ganze richtig erkannt und konfiguriert zu haben.
