hi,
wenn ich startkylix eingebe, erhalte ich folgende (logische) fehlermeldung:
Can't open configuration file /home/ingo/.borland/.borlandrc,
$HOME/.borland/.borlandrc or shared configuration file
/usr/local/etc/borlandrc.conf

denn die homedateien können ja noch nicht da sein, da das programm noch nie gestartet wurde und in /usr/local/etc/ ist gar nichts vorhanden. das verzeichnis ist leer, da kylix in /opt/kylix installiert ist.

hat jemand vielleicht eine idee?

ach ja. habe suse7.3 und kylix von den suse-cds installiert.

habe genau das gleiche Problem. Die Datei muß das Format einer Wine-Konfigurationsdatei haben; man kann einfach wine.conf, wenn man eine hat, kopieren.

wie hast du denn das rausbekommen, daß die datei so aussehen muss? ich konnte nirgends eine lösung dazu finden.

ich habe es aus de Fehlermeldung geschlossen, weil die genauso aussieht wie bei wine. Es funktioniert jedenfalls.

funktioniert bei mir leider nicht. folgende fehlermeldung:

Warning: no valid DOS drive found, check your configuration file.
Warning: could not find wine.conf [Drive x] entry for current working directory
/home/ingo; starting in windows directory.
Invalid path 'c:\windows\system' for system directory
Perhaps you have not properly edited or created your Wine configuration file.
This is either /usr/local/etc/borlandrc.conf or $HOME/.borland/.borlandrc
or it is determined by the -config option or from
the WINE_INI environment variable.
Wine has used /home/ingo/.borland/.borlandrc as configuration file.
